Candle Care & Tips
-Keep wick always centered and trimmed to ¼’’.
-Always burn candles within sight.
-Keep out of the reach of children and pets.
-Never burn a candle on or near anything that can catch fire.
-Remove all packaging before burning.
-Place on temperature safe surface to avoid heat damage.
-Keep away from drafts.
-Keep the wax pool free of debris.
-Do not burn candles for more than 4 hours at a time.
-Discontinue use when ¼’’ of wax remains.
-Do not use water or any other liquid to extinguish your candle.
Soot issues:
-If you are experiencing excess soot from your candle:
-Make sure to trim your wicks to 1/4' before lighting your candle.
-If you are still experiencing excess soot, please trim your wick to 1/8’’
-Move candles away from any vents, fans, or air drafts.
-Make sure you are not burning your candle longer than the recommended time of 3-4 hours.
*If you are experiencing excess soot and these suggestions are not working, discontinue use and contact us.
Cracked Candle
*To avoid a crack in your candle:
-Make sure your wicks are trimmed to ¼’’ before each lighting.
-Make sure your wicks are always centered.
-Do not exceed the recommended burn time of 3-4 hours.
-Avoid drafts as they can cause wicks to veer off center, which can lead to glass overheating.
Tunneling
*Tunneling is more apparent in the initial burn of the candle.
-Please burn your candle 2-3 times and make sure each burn time is in increments of 3-4 hours to allow wax to pool around the edges of the candle.
-If tunneling is still apparent, proceed to burn in 3-4 increments until candle self-corrects.
Fragrance Performance
*If your candle is not releasing a strong fragrance:
-Make sure to burn your candle for 3-4 hours each time you light the candle. This will allow the wax and wick to heat properly and emit fragrance.
-Move your candle to another location to avoid drafts from vents or fans.
*Please note single wick candles are meant to be used in smaller rooms to enhance fragrance performance.
*Double or triple wick candles work best in larger rooms.
Cotton Wick Tips
*Wick issues or self-extinguishing flame:
-If the flame is self-extinguishing, please wait until the wick is cool then loosen the wick fibers by twisting the wick with your fingers and relight.
-Blow out the candle and ensure the wicks are completely extinguished. Use a paper towel to absorb some of the wax near the wicks of the candle. Safely dispose of the paper towel and ensure no debris is left in the wax. Relight your candle and note if the candle begins burning properly.
*Please contact us if you have tried these suggestions and your candle will still not remain lit.
Wooden Wick Tips
-Trim the wooden wick before each burn, even before the first
burn.
-Burn the wooden wick for 3-4 hours during the first burn and
each burn after that.
-Monitor the flame on your wooden wick.
-Discontinue use of your candle when there is ¼’’ wax left in the jar or when the bottom of the jar is visible through the wax.
Reed Diffuser Care
*Reed Diffusers are the perfect way to freshen up a living area without the need for flame from a candle or electricity from an electric melt warmer. The natural wooden reeds continuously release a clean, pure fragrance throughout your living space.
-Simply turn the reeds over once a week to recharge and release a new wave of scent.
*Directions of use:
-Place the reed sticks in the oil and allow them to sit for one hour. By the end of the hour, you should start to notice the sticks slowly absorbing the oil.
-Flip the reeds over to saturate the top part of the reeds that stick out above oil level. This helps to speed up the process of the oil soaking up from the bottom diffusing through the entire reed.
-Place your reed diffuser somewhere suitable in your home.
-Place it where it will not be knocked or investigated by curious children or pets.
-Be sure to keep it far away from electrical appliances too, in case of a spill.
-Expect a light fragrance to start perfuming your room within 24 hours.
**Warning**
*DO NOT LIGHT THE REED DIFFUSER REEDS*
-Ensure your reed diffuser is placed out of reach of children and pets in an area where it will not be easily knocked over.
-If spilt, the mixture may stain surfaces.
